TNEB Online Payment

The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board was converted as per G.O.114, dated 08th, October-2008 by inaugurating a holding company by the name "TNEB Ltd" and their two subsidiary companies are: TANTRANSCO (Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Ltd.) and
TANGEDCO (Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd.)

Accordingly, the TANTRANSCO (Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Ltd.)  was registered and approved by the Government vide G.O. No. 38 dated 21st, May-2009 under the companies Act 1956, it was incorporated on 15th, June-2009.

Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Ltd (TANTRANSCO) became a company completely owned by the Government of Tamil Nadu and started functioning from 14th, Decemebt-2009.

TNEB Online Payment Process :

1. First Go to www.tneb.in (enter this in address bar)

2. Then click on Online Payment (As shown in the figure)

3. Here Just click on New User (if you are a new customer in online payment)

4. Fill out the required fields (*), then

5. Find the Service No. Details you can find on white meter card or in the last month receipt and choose your region properly.

6. After filling of this you will receive a automated mail confirming that the user is successfully registered.

7. If the service number which you are trying is already registered by other person then, you will get a replay that "Consumer Number has already registered".

8. If you want to register for that service number for that account, then you can register a compliant  by entering  the New User Name and email id.
Then an email will be sent to the existing customer by saying delete his account for this service number.
If the existing customer didn't delete the account, then the system will automatically checks the usage of his account for recent transactions, if system found no transactions were done by the old customer then the account will be deleted by the system automatically within 7 days.

9. An intimating email will be sent to you to make new registration.
