State Bank of India (SBI) has started Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) allows an SBI customer to deposit Cash using their Debit Card. This is a 24x7 self-service machine.
These modern Cash Deposit Machines are placed at some of the ATM outlets.
This machine operated by the customers Debit Card or ATM Card, and can deposit cash round -the-clock.
Minimum Deposit limit Rs. 100/- and Maximum allowed limit Rs. 49,000/-
Accepted notes Rs. 100, 500 and 1,000.
Swipe your Debit Card or ATM Card and enter 4 digit PIN for verification.
Select as Cash Deposit (Left side of the Screen)
Then, Select your Account Type (i.e., Savings or Current Account).
Place the Cash in the Cash Deposit slot. (You can place all denomination like Rs. 100 + 500 + 1,000 Rupee notes at a time, Up to 200 notes can be accepted by the machine or Per transaction limit is Rs. 49,000/-)
Click on Deposit. ( Machine will sort the Currency Notes and it will show us denomination-wise amount)
Amount will be Credited to account holders Account instantly.
Receipt will be generated showing denomination wise and your total amount.
Note: Please remove Pins and other bands while you deposit.
Some times Currency Notes will come out from the machine if the Currency Note is too old or if machine can't detect, but don't worry try to keep another Currency Note and press Confirm.
